Covid-19: Rules & how to book

Please call 07904 697729 to make a booking

  1. Anyone who suspects they may have Covid symptoms should not play. Anyone in the same household group as those with the symptoms should also not play
  2. Only pre booked players in household groups (max group size 4) can play. Households of more than 4 can be accommodated across 2 consecutive tee times
  3. Our initial opening times are 10:30-16:30 daily (last tee time 16:30, closing at 17:30)
  4. Nobody else can accompany a playing group
  5. No food or drink should be bought onto the course, and none are available to buy
  6. Customers to pre book and pay by phone, with groups spaced out at 5 minute intervals – we are aiming to achieve social distancing of 5m+. We request that bookings are made at least 24 hours in advance, although we may be able to accommodate shorter notice requests
  7. Customer payments will be taken by phone in advance so that no payment is required at the venue (it's fine to reschedule a game if circumstances or the weather changes).
  8. At the time of booking customers will be asked for information about the height of their players so that the correct equipment can be left for their group at the course entrance. This will avoid the need for human handover of equipment
  9. No scorecards or pencils will be provided
  10. Customers should arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled start time, to allow time to disembark and be ready to start promptly
  11. Entry into the hotel complex is not permitted at this time, but we have an on course toilet that's cleaned after each use.
  12. Upon arrival customers should head directly to Congo Rapids via the outdoor only route through the car park
  13. A starter / course marshall will be present when multiple groups are booked to play within a 1 hour period of each other to ensure that groups keep a 5m distance from each other
  14. All putting cups are filled with pebbles up to a height of 2.5cm from the brim. This will enable balls to be picked from the cup without the need to put hands into the cup
  15. Flagsticks, ball retrieval scoops and ink stamps have been removed from the course to avoid common touch points
  16. Self propelled rafts are closed to avoid players needing to touch ropes
  17. On completion of the round the ball is automatically taken by the 18th hole. It will then be cleaned with bleach and water, and also retired from use for 72 hours
  18. Putters are to be left in exit baskets on the way out. They will be sanitised with detergents all over and retired from use for 72 hours
  19. Hand sanitiser is available upon entry and exit
